Brief:
For Hodgins Building Centre, the goal was to establish a new brand identity, distinguishing them from their previous affiliation with Rona while reflecting their community ties and family values. The logo, featuring a saw blade and the letter 'H,' creatively captures their industry and legacy. The bold font signifies strength, contributing to a unique visual representation. The deliverables, including the logo and guidelines, effectively set them apart in the industry and reflected their values. Despite the challenge of transitioning from a well-known brand, the qualitative success was evident in stakeholders' enthusiastic response to the chosen concept, leading to extensive implementation across various mediums, showcasing the effectiveness of the design solution.
